本課程是為針對生物醫學有興趣的準大學生所設計的入門課程，目標是加強同學對生命現象的觀念和基本知識。上學期內容主要從細胞層面探討生命本質，涵蓋細胞基本架構、組成與代謝，分子生物學，細胞遺傳及基因調控等主題。
